Andrew is Senior Partner in our firm’s Tax department, an associate of the Irish Tax Institute and a member of Life Insurance Association Ireland. Andrew has over 33 years’ professional experience since first qualifying as a chartered accountant and acts as taxation partner to a broad range of the firm’s clients, both nationally and internationally. He provides advice across all tax heads including income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, capital acquisitions tax, payroll taxes, stamp duty, VAT and other indirect taxes.

Wealth management/financial services
Andrew has also developed an expertise in the provision of wealth management and related financial advisory services to our client base and this is of particular relevance in the current challenging economic climate. Focusing on efficient estate planning of inter generational wealth transfers. Andrew is very knowledgeable on exempt trust structures, trustees and custodianships.

Tax advice
Andrew provides specialist taxation advice to Irish family-owned businesses, both incorporated and unincorporated, on the protection and growth of client assets.

He also advises foreign companies and individuals doing business in Ireland either directly or through a holding company structure to optimise their overall financial position. In addition, strong working links have been developed with the Irish tax authorities over many years which greatly assist in negotiations with the Irish Revenue Commissioners on any taxation issues that may arise.
