Mr. John P. O’Donovan, B.Comm, FCA serves as the Group Chief Financial Officer of Bank of Ireland at Bristol & West PLC. Mr. O’Donovan has been the Managing Partner of Orpen Franks a leading Irish law firm specializing in corporate law, merges and acquisitions, banking and commercial property development since 1990. Mr. O’Donovan served as the Group Chief Financial Officer of The Governor and Company of The Bank of Ireland from November 2001 to February 1, 2012, and served as its Member of Court.
Previously, Mr. O’Donovan served as Group Finance Director and Company Secretary of Aer Lingus. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Frontier Resources International, Plc since April 22, 2008. He served as a Non Executive Director of Bank of Ireland UK Holdings plc from June 25, 2002 to December 31, 2012. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Bristol & West PLC from June 25, 2002 to December 31, 2011. He served as Director of The Governor and Company of The Bank of Ireland since 2007. He holds a BCL Degree from University College Dublin in 1973.
