Fee Structure

We offer a range of self-directed account types including personal, corporate and pension portfolios. Our fees are billed quarterly and are based on fixed rates as set out below. Fees are deducted from the portfolio 10 days after the invoice issue date³. We are pleased to discuss fees and provide further information at any time either before or after payment is made. No commissions or incentives

We do not receive or charge commissions or any other incentive or benefit for selling financial products or facilitating/executing investment transactions. We believe this approach gives our clients the reassurance that we are committed to a long term, mutually rewarding partnership with them.

Advisory Fees¹ ²

Our full service offering includes a self-directed account with tax planning, pension and retirement planning, investment advice and holistic financial planning, together with custody and transaction charges, in one fixed fee.

For portfolios valued at less than €1,000,000, fees are fixed at 1.5% subject to a €2,000 per annum minimum.

For portfolios valued at €1,000,000 or higher, fees are fixed at a maximum of 1% per annum.

Transaction fees are fixed at 0.25% of transaction value, with a minium fee of €50 and a maximum transaction fee of €200.

Custody and Dealing charges¹ ²

For clients not wishing to avail of the full service offering, custody and dealing charges are as follows:

For portfolios valued at less than €1,000,000, custody fees are fixed at 0.75%, subject to a minimum €2,000 per annum.

For portfolios valued at €1,000,000 or higher, custody fees are fixed at 0.50% per annum.

Transaction fees are fixed at 0.25% of transaction value, with a minium fee of €50 and a maximum transaction fee of €200.

Other fees and charges¹ ²

We provide a wide range of bespoke financial planning and wealth management advisory services. In particular we offer competitive fees for the set up and administration of small self administered pension schemes. Fees for these services will be agreed with you in advance of provision of services.

Third party charges

All fees quoted are exclusive of third party costs including bank and execution broker charges. Bank and broker account and transaction charges can usually be obtained from the website of the institution. Please contact your relationship manager for details of third party fees charged in relation to your selected investments

² PRSA legislation requires our firm to express charges on PRSA accounts as a percentage of net PRSA asset value as follows:

Equities, Property and other investments: 2.4%
Bonds: 1.33%
Cash: 0.66%

This represents the maximum annual fee including VAT that any PRSA will be charged and where this fee differs from our fixed fees as set out above, the lower fee will apply.

³Fees are collected from portfolios 10 days after issue, except in the case of employer sponsored occupational pension schemes where fees are disbursed directly by the employer.

4 BCWM clients with self-directed portfolios may choose their stockbroker. BCWM has a core broker which it uses for clients who do not express a preference for a particular broker and the illustration above is based on the current charges of this broker.  The broker transaction charges of the any broker with whom trades are placed will be disclosed to you.
