Requirements

    • Third level qualification in a relevant discipline
    • QFA Qualification
    • CFP/Tax qualification an advantage
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage client portfolios
    • 2 years plus relevant experience in a client facing advisory role in an Investment Firm, Private Banking sector or Insurance intermediary
    • working knowledge of MiFID regulations in relation to the provision of advice
    • Capable of dealing effectively with the clients and work as part of a team and interact with other departments
    • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of clients who will have investments held through pensions, personally and through corporate structures
  • Proactively reviewing client portfolios and ensuring they are rebalance in line with the Firm’s investment policy and the clients risk appetite
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of client circumstances in order to assess the client’s appetite for risk and establish objectives and develop a financial plan in order to achieve such goals
  • Formulating and executing independent financial advice in accordance with the ethos of the firm
  • Preparation of meeting reports, agendas etc
  • Draft reports to clients setting out recommendations
  • Attend meetings with clients with the Managing Director and the Chief Operation Officer as required
  • Provide support to clients in all areas of financial planning
  • Building relationships and develop a rapport with clients
  • Responsibility for ensuring all aspects of advice and client servicing generally delivered promptly and ensure client satisfaction
